Dr. Isaac is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2017 at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he has previously received his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology in 2011. Dr. Isaac has been a certified personal trainer through The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) since 2010, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS) through The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in January 2017.
Most recently, Isaac became a certified clinician in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation (PBFR) Training, completing his certification through Owens Recovery Science in 2017. PBFR is the application of a tourniquet briefly and intermittently to an exercising limb, to induce significant and substantial strength, hypertrophy and endurance changes while using a very light load to protect healing tissues.
As a DPT, CSCS, and PBFR trainer, Dr. Isaac strives to return his patients to their prior level of function and beyond using a multidisciplinary approach for optimal rehabilitation in minimal time.
